1956

'Paper Magic' by Robert Harbin, which was published by Oldbourne in London in 1956, contains a Rabbit design developed from a Waterbomb. The text notes,' Unknown origin. Passed to the author by Mr W McComb of Ireland.'

1960

This design for a 'Rabbit' appears in 'Origami Storybook' by Florence Sakade, which was published by Charles Tuttle and Company Ltd in Tokyo and Vermont in 1960

The same book also includes a simple design for a rabbit's head.

A compound design for a 'A Rabbit' appears in 'All About Origami' by Isao Honda, which was published by Toto Bunka Company, Limited in Tokyo in 1960. The ears are created using a cut.

1964

Two simple designs for rabbit's heads appear in 'Fold-and-Paste Origami Storybook' by Florence Sakade, which was published by Charles E Tuttle Company in Vermont and Tokyo in 1964.

A compound rabbit design from two right angle isosceles triangles of different sizes, which integrates without glue, appears in 'My Origami Animals and Fishes', which was published by Crown Publishers Inc, in New York in 1964.

1967

The 1967 Rupert Annual contains instructions for folding 'Rupert's Hare or Rabbit'. The design is attributed to R Shipp.

'Origami in the Classroom: Book 2: Activities for winter through summer' by Chiyo Araki, which was published by Charles E Tuttle Co Inc in 1968, contains tow cut designs for rabbits.
