As far as I know this design first appears as 'La peniche' in 'Joujoux En Papier' by Tom Tit was published in Paris by Paul Lechevalier in 1924.

1929

As 'Le Bateau Ponte' in the issue of the French children's magazine 'L'Age Heureux' of 5th September 1929, but here dressed up as different vessels with additional bits and pieces, some folded, some not.

As 'Le Bateau Ponte' in Booklet 1 of 'Images a Plier', a series of 6 booklets published by Librairie Larousse in Paris in 1932.
