The School Boy's Holiday Companion by T Kentish, 1840 | |||||||
'The School Boy's Holiday Companion' by T Kentish was published by Relfe and Fletcher in London in 1840. This book was drawn to my attention by Matthew Demakos. T Kentish is probably Thomas Kentish who also wrote The Pyrotechnist's Treasury, or, Complete Art of Making Fireworks, The Gauger's Guide and Measurer's Manual and A Treatise on a Box of Instruments and the Slide-Rule, among others. A full copy of the work can be accessed online here. ********** ********** Analysis Fold and Cut 16-Pointed Star (Requires two cuts) ********** The Catherine of Cleves Box ********** The Workman's Hat Two such caps are also used as boxes to help create a pair of scales.
