Plegado by Rufino Yapur, 1939 | |||||||
'Plegado' by Rufino Yapur was published by Editores Independencia in Buenos Aires. The work is undated. However, a publication date of 1939 is given in the bibliography in 'Papirolas - Volume 3' by Vicente Solorzano Sagredo, which was published in Buenos Aires in 1940. This page is based on a copy of the work gifted to Robert Harbin by Ligia Montoya and currently held in the library of the British Origami Society, who have kindly allowed me access to it. The work contains paperfolding, paper sloyd and cardboard modelling designs, as well as other material which, despite the title, is not paperfolding in any sense. Much of this material appears to have been added at the end of the book, from page 61 onwards, perhaps because the publisher felt that the original work was too short. Only the paperfolding and paper sloyd designs have been included in the Analysis. A full copy of the work appears at the foot of this page. ********** The work is mentioned in Gershon Legman's 'Bibliography of Paperfolding':. **********
