Thank you. ********** In Japan (and in publications by Japanese authors) 1931 As far as I know the Nagakabuto first appears in 'Origami (Part 1)' by Isao Honda, which was published in Japan in 1931. ********** 1944 Two versions of the design appear in 'Origami Shuko' by Isao Honda, which was published in 1944. ********** In Europe and the Americas 1960 As 'Party Hat' in an article by Robert Harbin published in 'The Observer' of 7th February 1960. ********** 1963 The same design appears as 'The Party Hat' in 'Party Lines' by Robert Harbin, which was published by the Olbourne Book Co in London in 1963. ********** 1964 The 'Party Hat' also appears in 'Secrets of Origami', by Robert Harbin, which was published by Oldbourne Book Company in London in 1964. ********** |
