Thank you. ********** 1964 As far as I know this design first appears in 'Secrets of Origami', by Robert Harbin, which was published by Oldbourne Book Company in London in 1964. It is said to be of Japanese origin, 'discovered' (presumably 'collected') by John M Nordquist.
