'La Escultura por el Recorte' was published anonymously by J Ortiz in Madrid. The work is undated but probably dates from the early to mid 1930s. I have temporarily assigned it to 1936 pending further information becoming available.

It is a book of instructions for making cut and fold figures from cardboard.

These figures appear to have been inspired by figures of a similar style sculpted from cut and folded metal by, inter alia, Ramón Acín and Antonio de Lara Gavilán (aka Tono). See here.
