'Handicraft
in the School' was issued in four volumes by Gresham
Publishing in London in 1910. The contents of the four
volumes were: ********** The Introduction concentrates mostly on an explanation of work with colour but does include a brief paragraph explaining the ethos of the work: ********* The sections in Volume 1 on Easy Handwork for Infants and Educational Handwork contained paperfolding material. A full copy of the work can be found here. The work was reissued in five volumes in 1914. A new volume 'Modelling in Cardboard, Paper and Leatherette' was added as volume 2 and the original volumes 2, 3 and 4 were renumbered as volumes 3, 4 and 5. I have not been able to access a copy of the new second volume to ascertain what the paperfolding content is. ********** Easy Handwork for Infants This section of the work includes, inter alia, sections on Handkerchief Folding, Paper Flowers, The Magic Folds, and Miscellaneous Folding and Cutting.
