'Das Deutschen Knaben Handwerksbuch' (The German Boy's Handbook) by Barth and Niederley was published in Bielefield and Leipzig in 1872. It is a book of practical activities aimed at boys of 9 or 10 years of age.

The information on this page is taken from the third 'enlarged and improved' edition of 1876. It only contains the original Foreword so there is no indication of whiuch material may or may not have been added since the first edition was issued. I have assumed, however, that the information it containselating to paperfolding is the same.
