Cassell's Book of Indoor Amusements, Card Games and Fireside Fun, 1881

'Cassell's Book of Indoor Amusements, Card Games and Fireside Fun' was published by Cassell and Co in London in 1881. It contains a chapter giving instructions for playing Round Games, a number of which depend on the use of folding to conceal something written or drawn on paper from view, and another on Toys and Toy-Making which contains other paperfolding items.

A full copy of the third edition of the work, which I believe is identical to the first, and from which the details below have been drawn, work can be viewed at https://archive.org/stream/cassellsbookofin00cassrich?ref=ol#page/n7/mode/2up

A companion volume, 'Cassell's Book of Sports and Pastimes', which concentrates on outdoor activities and does not contain any paperfolding material, was published at a similar date, possibly shortly afterwards in 1882.
