Pictorial Origami
 
Pictorial origami is the term I use to describe representative designs which are like pictures in that the design is flat rather than three dimensional. Such designs can be single or double sided. Such designs can be folded from either dyed / homogeneous or irogami / differentiated paper.

I use the term drawing with paper to describe pictorial designs folded from irogami / differentiated paper in which the picture is created using the contrast between the two surfaces. I believe that the late Eric Kenneway was the first to use this term.
