This page is being used to collect information about paperfolds that have survived from when they were folded until the present day. ********** 1868-1912 Volume 2 Issue 1 of 'The Origamian' for Summer 1961 contains a report by Lillian Oppenheimer of a trip to the West Coast where she met John Nordquist who had recently purchased a collection of paperfolds folded by Yoshinaga Ogawa. The current whereabouts of this collection is not known. ********** 1895 Sample Book of Froebelian Paper Folds and Cuts by Laura B Thompson, 1895 This book contains sections on Folding, Paper Interlacing, Mat Weaving, Sewing and Cutting (out and Mounting). It contains the only examples of Paper Interlacing (Verschnuren) that I know to have survived from this era. ********** |
