The USA version of Reader's Digest magazine of August 1970 published an article entitled 'Paper Magic of Origami' which was 'condensed' from a similar article in 'Beacon Magazine of Hawaii'. In November 1970 a similar article was published in the Italian language version of Reader's Digest, Selezione dal Reader's Digest.

My thanks to Laura Rosenberg for sharing her copy of this article with me.

This version follows the UK version, published in October 1970, in including a page of diagrams for 'Yoshizawa's Flapping Dove', which are borrowed from 'Simple Origami' by Eric Kenneway.

The article gives no information about origami in Italy.
