Method 1

This design appeared in 'Paper Folding and Cutting' by Katherine M Ball, which was published by the Prang Educational Company in Boston in 1892.

Method 2

Diagrams for a hexagram, under the title of 'Star of Victory', are included in 'Paper Magic' by Will Blyth, which was first published by C Arthur Pearson in London in 1920.

Method 3

A third method of making a hexagram appears under the title of 'Etoile a Six Branches' in 'Au Pays des Mains Agiles', which was published by Editions Fleurus in Paris in 1949.
