'Kindergarten Gifts Atlas' was published by the Shanghai Science Instrument Museum in Shanghai in 1906. It is a translation into Chinese of the Japanese work 'Yochien Ombutsu No Zu, and, like the original work, consists of a number of booklets, each dealing with a separate kindergarten gift or occupation, enclosed in a wrapper. The 18th Gift (and booklet) deals with zhe zhi (paperfolding).

The publication date is given on the back of the wrapper (see below right).

The illustrations in the booklet relating to Gift 18 are identical to those in the corresponding booklet in the original work.
