This Fold, Cut and Fold effect, attributed to Jack Chanin , in which the rabbit's ears can be made to flap, was published in Hugard's Magic Monthly in November 1947. This article is referred to in Gershon Legman's 'Bibliography of Paper Folding', which was self-published in 1952.

1949

Hugard's Magic Monthly for February 1949 contained an article about money folding by Martin Gardner explaining the Mazuma Fish, Mazuma Midget and Mazuma Mushroom folds. (Mazuma is US slang for money.)

Hugard's Magic Monthly for September 1949 contained an article written by Martin Gardner titled 'Stunts with Paper'. This article is referred to in Gershon Legman's 'Bibliography of Paper Folding', which was self-published in 1952.
