'Friedrich Froebel's Kindergarten-Briefe' edited by Hermann Poesche was published in Wien and Leipzig in 1887.

The only references to 'Falten' are in the advertisement at the end of the work (reproduced below) but the work does contain much information about the early development of the kindergarten in various countries, of which, of course, Falten was a part.

A translation into English was published in 1891 as 'Froebel's Letters on the Kindergarten'. This page contains passages from the translation which are relevant to the story of the development of kindergarten. (Their accuracy can, of course, be checked against the original if required.) Information contained in footnotes added to the original text by the translators can be found on the page devoted to the translation.
