'Der Papparbeiter oder Anleitung in Pappe zu arbeiten' by Bernhard Heinrich Blasche was published in three parts in Schnepfenthal in 1797.

A second edition was published, also in three parts, in 1801, and a third, with the three parts combined into one volume, in 1805.

A fourth, enlarged and completely revised edition was published in 1911. A partial copy of this edition (lacking the plates) can be accessed online here.

A translation into French was published as 'L'art de modeler en papier ou en carton' in 1818.

A translation into English was published as 'The art of working in pasteboard : upon scientific principles' in 1827.
