Pictorial Story in Llibre Vert III by Apeles Mestre, 1883
 
This pictorial story appears in Llibre Vert III and is clearly dated 2nd August 1883. (Information from Coral Roma.) The drawing is headed 'Cuento de Paper' (Paper Story).

The same pictorial story was also published, in a rearranged format, on 29th April 1908, in the last ever issue of the Catalan satirical magazine 'La Campana Catalana'. This later version is reproduced at the bottom of this page.
