A booklet entitled 'The History of Paperfolding in Britain' by David Lister was published by the British Origami Society in 1975. It is unreliable on the general history of paperfolding (because it was written before much research had been carried out) but seems reliable on the history of paperfolding in Britain from 1945 onwards, giving details about the paperfolding of Alfred Bestall and Robert Harbin, about the formation of both the Origami Portfolio Society and the British Origami Society, and the early development of the British Origami Socirty thereafter.
