| In
shape forming puzzles the object is to fold a sheet of
paper, usually along a set of existing creases, to match
the outline shape of a motif. In pattern forming puzzles
the object is to fold a piece of irogami (paper which is
white one side and coloured the other) to reproduce a
pattern. The puzzle may also add additional requirements,
eg that the solution must be of a certain shape or that
the pattern must be on both sides of the finished folded
shape.
